Pots X Prints
Collaboration · Helga Ritsch
The exhibition "Pots X Prints" brings together two distinct artistic practices in a thoughtful and tactile dialogue. Hosted at Studio Helga Ritsch, the show features Helga Ritsch's refined porcelain works alongside Anne-Marie Fischer's printmaking and wooden objects. Ritsch presents her delicate porcelain pieces, characterized by precision, subtlety, and a deep sensitivity to material. In contrast, Fischer's works on paper and her sculptural wooden objects introduce a graphic and structural dimension, creating a dynamic interplay between surface and form. A special highlight of the exhibition is a small, collaboratively developed collection: high-quality, circular plates crafted from black and white porcelain. These pieces are wheel-thrown by the ceramicist and then intervened upon by the artist through minimalist painting. The result is a series of unique objects that merge craftsmanship and artistic expression in a quiet yet striking way.
