The Big Picture, GKB
Art on Site
The Big Picture is a 250 cm x 750 cm acrylic painting created for the creative space in the customer hall of the Graubündner Kantonalbank in Chur. Using only four colors—black, white, and the complementary pair of blue and orange – the work enhances contrast to generate movement and vibrancy. The dynamic composition creates a sense of positive energy that extends beyond the canvas into the surrounding space. Fragments from different directions converge to form a cohesive structure, reflecting the concept of expanded perspective. The title, The Big Picture, alludes to seeing beyond isolated details, grasping complex relationships and envisioning broader possibilities.
